McKENNA-RYAN, Eileen Ann. After a long and courageous battle with cancer Eileen passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on June 9, 2006 at the age of sixty-six. Eileen, beloved wife of Frank. Dear mother of Kelly McInerney (Patrick Llewellyn), Erin McInerney (Michael Mell), and Ryan McInerney (Ann Du). Loving Nana to Connor, Darcy, McKenna, Brendan, and Callan. Dear stepmother of Frank Ryan Jr., Colleen Ryan (Tom Litzgus, and Kerry Ryan (Kevin Metcalf). Dear Grandma to Max, Zach, Tanner, and Kiefer. Dear sister of Maureen Churma (Brian), John McKenna (Mary Ann), and Josephine Treacy (Jim). Predeceased by her parents John and Mary McKenna and by her sisters Kathleen and Margaret. Fondly remembered by her many relatives and friends for the passion she brought to each moment of her life. The family will receive friends at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby, (905) 668-3410 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday June 12, 2006. Prayers on Monday evening at 8 p.m. Mass of the Christian burial will be held at Holy Family Parish (91 Ribblesdale Drive, Whitby) on Tuesday June 13, 2006 at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. Burial to take place in Montreal at Cote des Neiges Cemetery at a later date. In memoriam, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or to Hearth Place.
