Irving SLACK

SLACK, Irving. June 8, 2006. Peacefully at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, June 7, 2006, Irving Slack of Tillsonburg, formerly of Waterloo, Quebec, passed away surrounded by his family, in his eighty-second year. Dear husband and best friend of Margaret Slack for very close to 55 years. Loving father to David Slack of Sarnia, Barbara Slack and her spouse Krzysztof Blusztajn of Massachusetts, Katherine Slack of Nova Scotia, Krista Slack of Toronto, Lisa Slack of Toronto. Irving was predeceased by his parents and his two sisters. Irving was a very active volunteer within the community of Tillsonburg and was a very active member within St. John's Anglican Church. At Irving's request, a memorial service will be held on Monday, June 12, 2006 at 2 p.m. from St. John's Anglican Church, Tillsonburg. Rev. Richard Jones will be officiating. Inurnment for Irving will be in Waterloo, Quebec at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of one's choice and can be made at Ostrander's Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell St., Tillsonburg (842-5221) who have been entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
