Leo Allan MORRISON

MORRISON, Leo Allan. 1940-2006. After a courageous two year battle with cancer, we sadly announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father and grandfather at the West Island Palliative Residence on June 9, 2006 at the age of sixty-five. Leo was constantly surrounded by his family and friends during his illness. Leo is survived by his wife and best friend Diane (Mackay) and would have celebrated forty-one years of marriage June 19, 2006. He was a dear father to his daughter Debbie (Marc A. Rousseau) and son Derek, and best grandpa to one year old William Leo. He is also survived by his loving sister Kay Rhodenizer (Byron) and sister Eva Pembroke (Ronnie) as well as nieces and nephews and other loving family relatives in Nova Scotia and Ontario. Leo was a quiet man who enjoyed his "TV Room", watching his favourite sports- hockey and baseball, and faithfully cheered for his Toronto Maple Leafs. He was a lover of country music which he played constantly while working to maintain a perfect, green, weed-free lawn. Special thanks to all the Montreal General Hospital staff who were in any way involved with Leo's care and treatment especially his "Main Man" Dr. Steven Ades, Mokhtar Ghoul, Dr. Simon Tanguay and Dr. Mulder. Leo you were loved by many and will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
