MONAHAN, Lloyd George Peacefully, at home, surrounded by family and friends, on Thursday June 15, 2006, Lloyd Monahan of Carlsbad Springs in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Mildred (Effemy) of 48 years on June 14. Dear father of Doug (Eva) and Susan (Bruce Kerfoot). Special Grandpa to Jessica Monahan and Christopher and Chelsea Kerfoot. Brother of Harold (Shirley), Eileen (Peter Raymond), Thora (Jim Guimmond) and Bev (Ted Williams). Predeceased by parents Russell and Elizabeth and brothers Russell and Kenneth. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 6971 Bank Street (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Monday in the Chapel for Service at 11 a.m. Private Inurnment at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be most appreciated.
