SANDELL, Sydney Samuel. Peacefully at Brockville Hospital, on Friday, June 16, 2006, at age ninety-one. Beloved husband of sixty-three years of Bessie Sandell (nee Pollack) of Ottawa, father of Harold (Lisa) Sandell of Ottawa and Dr. Lionel (Nancy) Sandell of Wilmington, Delaware. Brother of Joseph of Montreal, and of the late Godfrey, Lillian (Hart), Marion (Bryant) and Leonard. Grandfather of Lisa (Liel Liebovitz), Sharon, Sarah (Bentzion Gorelik), Eliahu and Ariel. Great-grandfather of Menuchah Raizel, Rochel and Yossel Avigdor Gorelik. Served in RCAF 1939-45. Funeral Service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Sunday, June 18 at 1:45 p.m. Burial at the Gan Shalom Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, Dollad-des-Ormeaux.
