Benson TURNER

TURNER, Benson. (Artist). Died Friday, June 16, 2006, in his eighty-eighth year, after a brief illness. Ben leaves his wife Phyllis (nee Stuart) of fifty-eight years, children Mona (Francoise Mondor), Michael (Wendy Woods) and Leslie. Grandchildren Romanie Vernham (Jason Gooding), Zoe Vernham (Rommel Mangaser), Sean Turner, Jessica Turner. Great-grandchildren Vivian Gooding, Luke Gooding, and Noah Mangaser. Niece Penelope Kokkinos of Ottawa. Sister-in-law Reid Stuart, niece Jill Morton (Jeff Irwin, Emily), and nephew Adam Morton (Miho, Adrian, Miki) of Victoria, B.C. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the West Island Palliative Care Residence would be greatly appreciated (265 Andre Brunet, Kirkland, Qc H9H 3R4, 514-693-1718). Ben's family would like to express their deep gratitude for the excellent care he received. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 29, 2006 at 1 p.m., at the St. James Anglican Church in Hudson (642 Main Road, Hudson Heights, Qc) for all who wish to pay their respects.
