Jean Elaine RUTHERFORD

RUTHERFORD, Jean Elaine Peacefully at Extendicare Starwood on June 22, 2006. Beloved wife of Donald Rutherford. Cherished sister of Irene Shepherd of Saskatoon. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Jean was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and came to Ottawa in 1955. She worked for the Department of National Defense for many years also becoming very involved with community activities, particularly the square dance association. Friends may visit at the St-Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway, on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 from 11:30 a.m. until Service time in the Chapel at 1 p.m. A reception will follow after the interment at Beechwood Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff at Extendicare Starwood for the care and compassion provided to Jean.
