COWIE, Kenneth H. Peacefully at Perth Community Care Centre, Perth on Thursday, June 22nd, 2006 Kenneth H. Cowie (Veteran WWII, Royal Canadian Navy, retired following 35 years of service with Canada Post) in his 82nd year. Son of the late Andrew and Lily (White) Cowie. Dear brother of Frank (Betty), Ralph (Phyllis) and the late Don Cowie; loved uncle of Steven and Paul (Rosemary) Cowie and Catherine (Ralph) Kimball; great uncle of Andrew, Benjamin, Samuel and Michael Cowie and Justin, Caitlin and Matthew Kimball. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Sunday, June 25th, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 11:00 A.M. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery, Perth. In remembrance, contributions to the Arthritis Society or Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. The family send a 'special thanks' to the caregivers on the 3rd floor of the Perth Hospital for their loving care and compassion over the past 5 years and to Perth Community Care Centre for the kindness shown to Ken for the past few months.
