Alice LUDWIG

PEVERLEY, Alice (nee Ludwig). Died peacefully, at eighty-eight, on June 25, 2006, in St. Jean. She has been released at last from the darkness of Alzeimer's. The illness obscured that she was an intelligent, cultured, travelled, and worldly woman, but what we will miss above all is her extraordinarily generous and caring spirit. As the oldest sister, she always looked out for all of us, and so her passing is mourned by her sisters Ilse, Eva and Gertrude; her brother Walter; in-laws; and numerous nephews and nieces.
