Virtue Elizabeth LITTLE

LITTLE - After a long and courageous battle, Virtue Elizabeth Little has gone home to glory to with her Lord on June 9, 2004. Born in Musgravetown, Newfoundland in 1906 she came to Niagara Falls in 1940. Predeceased by husband Joseph in September 1975, son Rex in 1995, she was the last of her family, parents, George and Annette Matthews, 9 brothers and sisters, all deceased. Beloved and cherished mother of Clayton (Mary), Harvey (Daphne-deceased October 1998) Rex deceased (June), Juanita (Walter), Ella (Rich), Josie, Roy (Hope). Sadly missed by 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Also, one very old and faithful cat, Noodles, deceased. God blessed her with a long life and we take comfort knowing she is now free from pain and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus". Resting at Niagara Funeral Home, 5647 Main St., where family will recei friends Saturday, June 12th and Sunday June 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 14th from the Chapel of the Niagara Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Pastor David Gracin officiating. Interment to follow in Lundy's Lane Cemetery.
