THOMPSON, IRWIN "TIKE" REEVE The passing of Irwin "Tike" Reeve Thompson, husband of Jeanette (Peterson) Thompson, of Fredericton, NB occurred on July 11, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 5, 1939 in Pictou, NS, he was a son of the late Charles and Anne (Fisher) Thompson. Tike is survived by one son, Michael; one daughter, Kelli (Joe) Colter; grandson, Drew Colter of Fredericton NB; two brothers, Graham of Mechanicville, NY and Gerald of Charlottetown, PEI; one sister, Linda (Paul) Lenz of Brownsville, TX; mother-in-law, Nancy Peterson; sister-in-laws Debbie Monroe and Cindy (Michael) Crowley; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother Jack and his father-in-law Garnet Peterson. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 14, 2006 at 2 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ralph Irving officiating. Interment will take place at Marysville Baptist Church Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to Canadian Cancer Research, the Diabetic Association or to the Marysville Baptist Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
