McDIARMID, Ada Dorothy Peacefully in hospital on Saturday, April 10th, 2004 Dorothy (Acres) of Winchester in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald McDiarmid. Dear mother of Diane (Floyd Graham) of Manotick, Karen Ellerton of Metcalfe, Derwyn of Vanier and the late Dale. Loving grandmother of Robert (Nicole Lalande) and Jeffrey Graham and Kimberley and Deanna Ellerton. Sister of Arnold (Pearl) Acres of Ottawa, Helen (Lorne) Wyatt of Metcalfe, Phyllis MacIntosh and Kathleen "Kay" (Keith) Holmes, all of Winchester and the late Bruce and Carmen. A special thank you to the nurses at the Winchester Dialysis Unit. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home, Chapel and Reception Centre, 6971 Bank Street (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Funeral Tuesday in the Chapel for service at 11 a.m. Spring interment, Spring Hill Cemetery.
