HISCOCK, William Carl (Retired Cornwall Electric Employee) - At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday, July 6, 2006. He was 84. He leaves his loving wife of 58 years, Ruth (Watters) Hiscock. Dear father of Arlene Anne Hiscock of Cornwall. Survived by one sister, Edith Butler (Doug) of St. John's, Newfoundland. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Newfoundland and his sister-in-law Shirley Duchene (Thomas) of Cornwall. Predeceased by his parents, George and Marion (Hazletime) Hiscock, one sister Sybil Dawe (Ed) and one brother George Hiscock (late Doris). Friends may call at the M. JOHN SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) on Sunday from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. and on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of service. Funeral Monday, July 10, 2006 in the chapel of the funeral home at 10 a.m. Reverend Jim Leland of Knox-St. Paul's United Church officiating. Committal to follow at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, Long Sault. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
