COVINGTON, Queenie Suddenly at home on Saturday, June 12, 2004, Queenie Covington (nee Bacon) of Williamsburg, formerly of Cardinal, age 81. Beloved wife of the late Garnet "Peanut" Covington. Dear mother of Virginia (Doug) Miller of R.R. #3, Williamsburg and David (Rita) of Saskatoon. Dear sister of Rosie Fenton and Barbara Ackerman, both of England. Queenie will be fondly remembered by a grandson Scott Douglas and 2 great-granddaughters Kelsey and Kailyn. Predeceased by 1 brother and 6 sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Funeral service at the Funeral Home on Thursday, June 17th at 11 a.m. Interment St. John's Cemetery, Cardinal. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
