Frederick A. URE

URE, Frederick A. - Passed peacefully on July 19, 2006 at the age of 77 years at home with family. Beloved husband of the late Joyce Ure (2005); loving father of Michael and his wife Xudan, Catherine and her husband Michael, Karen and her husband Michael and David and his partner Rob; grandfather of Anthony, Nicky, Mindy, Daniel and Kyleigh. Fred is survived by his brother Robert. Fred was born and raised in St. Catharines and worked locally throughout his career as a land surveyor and engineer. He will be remembered for his stories. Special thanks to the nurses of Saint Elizabeth Health Care and especially to Darrell for his care, companionship and compassion. The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St. (905-684- 6346) on Saturday, July 22, 2006 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. A private family burial will take place in the fall.
