BATTY, Ronald Douglas. Suddenly on June 18, 2004 at the age of fifty-nine. Loving husband of Veronica O'Shaughnessy, adored father of Kevin (Jennifer), Alison (Martin), Graham (Chantal). Much loved grandpa of Robin, Cameron, Jackson, Emma and Olivia. Devoted son of Olive and Douglas Batty of Brockville. Dearest brother of Valerie and best friend of her husband John McEwan. A celebration of his life will take place at St. John Fisher Church, 120 Summerhill Avenue, Pointe-Claire on Monday, June 21 at 2 p.m. A reception will follow in the church hall where his many friends and loved ones can meet with his family. He was an active member of the Pointe-Claire Oldtimers and a passionate wood turner. He will be truly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
