Muriel MCHARDY

McHARDY, Muriel "Babs" Peacefully, surrounded by her family on Wednesday July 5, 2006 in her 93rd year. A kind gentle spirit, Babs touched many lives. Adventuresome, curious about life, she loved and supported her family. With her late husband Peter, she shared a love of the outdoors and nature. They explored and established roots in Algonquin Park, Lake Panache, and Maine. Loving mother of John (Pat Boyd) and Sue (Brian Weitzman), and loving grandmother to Krista, Sarah, and Jenny. Leaving behind a caring extended family, Babs was loved by all who knew her. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Friday, July 7th from 7 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, July 8th at 1 p.m. Interment following the service at Pinecrest Cemetery. We would like to thank the staff at the Unitarian House, Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre, and Network Healing Centre for their love and care. Donations if desired to the Unitarian House.
