ANGELONE, Silvestro - At the St.Catharines General Hospital, on Friday, April 30, 2004 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Laura. Predeceased by his first wife Filomena (November 20, 1989). Loving father of Angelo "Len" (Anne) Angelone and Dr. Anthony "Tony" (Catherine) Angelone. A fantastic "Grandpa Syl" will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his grandchildren, Adam, Amanda, Michael, Steven, Chelsea and Patrick. Dear brother of Domenic (Caterina) Angelone. Predeceased by his sister Giacinta. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Silvestro was an active parishioner and a member of the Italian Catholic Association of Holy Rosary Church, Thorold, a member of Club Roma Seniors and Associazione Nazionale Combattenti e Reduci. He worked at Abitibi Paper Company for over 28 years retiring in 1982. ÊÊ Silvestro's family will receive their friends at the Lamb-Bocchinfuso Funeral Home, 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Monday May 3, 2004, from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 21 Queen St. S., Thorold on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. The Rite of Entombment Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold. Vigil prayers for Silvestro will be celebrated at the funeral home on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
