ROONEY, Richard Keith - Passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Wednesday April 21, 2004 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of 51 years to Ruth Rooney. Dearly loved and devoted father of Lynda Wilson, Karen (Gary) Dickey, Paul (Jacqueline) Rooney, Donna Rooney (Nelson), Rick (Sheri) Rooney, all of Niagara Falls and Charlene (Pat) Pambianco of Oakville. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Julie, Tom, Sherry (Dan), Katherine (Matt), Cheryl, Brian, Derek, Meghan, Brandon, David, Jeremy and his great-grandchild Kyla. Dear brother of Art (Marge) Rooney and Barbara (Darcy) Drimmie. Predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Mr. Rooney had worked in sales management in the food industry for many years. He was an active parishioner at St. Thomas More Church and was also a past-president of the Niagara Promotion Association. He also was a volunteer driver for the Cancer Society. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Friends are invited to call at the Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main St. visiting Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The Vigil for Mr. Rooney will be celebrated Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
