Guy Joseph GIRARDIN

Guy Joseph Girardin August 9, 1921 - September 3, 2006 Papa passed away Sunday at his residence Foyer Valade. He was predeceased by his youngest son Dominique in 1979. He is survived by his youngest brother Raymond (Noëlla) Girardin. Left to mourn his passing is his wife of 60 years Marcelle, his children Thérèse, Yvonne, France Lafrenière, Luc, André, Paul (Shelly), Michel (Jo-anne), Pierre (Carole), as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dad lived his life as a farm implement dealer in Ponteix, Saskatchewan. He was well respected in the community and known as a man who was always there to help others. For over 60 years Girardin Implements served the Western farmers. Dad had a special pride and appreciation for Saskatchewan’s fields and the vast landscape. Papa we now say "adieu". Thank you for being such a good father. We love you. Watch over us from above. The family wishes to thank all the staff at Foyer Valade for the special care given to our Dad during his short stay. Prayer services will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway # 1 East at Navin Rd., on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held in Ponteix, Saskatchewan on Thursday, September 7, 2006 at 2:00 pm. with interment to follow in his field of dreams.
