DAL BIANCO, Mario - In loving memory of Mario Dal Bianco, 79 years of Sudbury, who passed away Tuesday, September 12th, 2006 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph's Health Center. He was born in Mareno di Piave, Italy and married Augusta (Arcelli) in 1950 in Italy. A longtime New Sudbury resident, Mario had worked for Rainbow Concrete as a foreman, retiring in 1991 with 35 years service. A Roman Catholic he belonged to Christ the King parish. Always an active man he was a member of the Caruso Club where he enjoyed playing bocce. He also enjoyed bowling, gardening, wine making and playing cards. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humour which he generously shared with all he met. The focus of his life was his loving family, especially spending quality time with his precious grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Beloved husband of Augusta (Arcelli) Dal Bianco predeceased 1986. Loving father of Siria Tang (husband Lorne predeceased) of Sudbury, Pierina Santin (Barbison) (husbands Angelo and Fiorigi both predeceased) of Italy, Floriana Hogarth (husband Douglas) of Sudbury, and Carolina Dal Bianco (husband Robert Cesario) of Toronto. Cherished Nonno of Rina (Tim Bedard), Jason (Angelina), John (Valerie), Lino, A.J., Erica and great- grandchildren Kasandra, Kristen, Emma, Bailey and Michael. Dear son of Innocente and Amalia (Carpini) Dal Bianco predeceased. Dear brother of Angelina Nardo of Italy, Giovanni of Sudbury and the late Angelo, Severino, Rosa, Giuseppe and Gregorio all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church, 30 Beech St., Sudbury Saturday, September 16th, 2006 at 10 a.m. Interment in the Park Lawn Cemetery. Prayers 3 p.m. Friday.
