PETTIE, Jack Edward - The family announces with sorrow, his peaceful death, in Sudbury after a short courageous battle with cancer, Wednesday, September 27th, 2006 at the age of 67 years. Son of the late James Pettie and of the late Grace Pettie. Husband of the late Hilda M. Pettie (nee Rubidge). Loving father of Debbie Nickner of Val Caron and Denise Kelly of North Bay. Dear brother of Marilyn McKinnon of Milton. Predeceased by his brother Jimmy. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Zachary Nickner, Megan, Sarah and Brian Kelly. Lovingly remembered by his nieces Catherine, Laurel, Gayle, Lisa, his nephews James, Bruce, Russell, Scott, David, Jay and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Jack was a retired smelter worker with Inco after 30 years of service. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570, St-Joseph Street, Hanmer, Friday, September 29th, 2006 from 6:30 -7:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Co-Operative Funeral Home, Hanmer. 10372227
