Mary Frances JACQUES

JACQUES, Mary (Mira) Frances Passed away September 17, at the age of 50 after a 15 month battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving daughter Magdalyn; her parents Nancy and Willis; sisters Katherine (Brian) Aucoin, Nancy (Ian) Malpass; brothers Ed (Patty) and Tom (Susan), as well as 6 nieces and 7 nephews. After graduating from Trent University, where she won several awards, Mary obtained Masters degrees in English and Pastoral Care. She also obtained a Bachelors Degree in Theology from McGill. After 1 1/2 years on the editorial staff of Style Magazine, she spent 15 years doing Stress Counseling. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial Service will be held at First United Church, 397 Kent Street on Thursday, September 21, 2006 at 11 a.m., followed by reception.
