SPARKES, Elsie Elizabeth (nee Marston) - At Chateau Gardens Nursing Home, Lancaster, Ontario, with family members by her side, Elsie, at the age of 94 years, went home to be with the Lord at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, September 25th. Born August 05, 1912, the loving daughter of the late Robert Marston and Emiline Adams of Danville, Quebec. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Sparkes of Lennoxville. Cherished mother of Bob (Marion) of Bulwer, Quebec; Jim (Esther) of Mississauga, Ontario; Mac (Janet) of Lennoxville, Quebec; Wendell (Diane) of Stittsville, Ontario; Del (Lois) of Liverpool, Nova Scotia, Janet (John Maslak) of Bradford, Ontario; Gene (Rev. Dean Ross) of Lennoxville, Quebec; Bill (Terry) of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan; Kathy (John O'Grady) of Hammond, Ontario; Frank (Nancy) of Lennoxville, Quebec; and Rev. Lois (Martin Gaudet) of Bainsville, Ontario. Devoted grandmother of 27 and great-grandmother of 37. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and was a special “Gram“ to many. Resting at Cass & Sons Funeral Home, 6 Belvedere Street, Lennoxville, PQ where visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral to be held on Friday, September 29th at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Chapel, 267 Montreal Street, Sherbrooke, PQ. Interment immediately following at the Danville Protestant Cemetery.
