MAYER, Mrs. Ramona (Mona) - Mrs. Ramona (Mona) Mayer (née Degan) passed away at the Janet MacDonell Pavilion in Cornwall, Ontario on Saturday, September 30, 2006. Age 78 years. Formerly of Westley Point. Beloved wife of Joseph Mayer of Lancaster, Ontario. Dear mother of Gary Mayer (Diane) of Cornwall. Dear sister of Carson Degan (Grace) of Danvers, Massachusetts and Anita (Mrs. Rheal Brisson) of Cornwall. Also survived by one grandson, Justin Labrecque and many nieces and nephews. Dear daughter of the late Emanuel Degan and the late Aurore Laperle. Cremation in South Branch crematorium. By family request there will be no visitation. The family of the late Mrs. Mayer will receive family and friends at Nativity co-cathedral on Thursday, October 5 at 9:30 a.m. Funeral mass will be held in Nativity co-cathedral on Thursday, October 5 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
