Loving grandmother of Rohahi;io Andrew Helmer, Peter and Tatyana Papineau. Predeceased by one son, Peter Hopps. Dear daughter of Joseph Benedict (Cecilia) of Oka, QC and the late Mary Boots. Dear sister of John Benedict (Kathy), Roy Benedict (Jr.) (Darlene), Roger Benedict (Barbara), Phillip Benedict (Lisa), Jean Benedict (Joey), Wanda Sharrow (Kenneth), Kateri Benedict (Thomas) and Susan Square (late Richard) all of Cornwall Island. Predeceased by one sister, Marion Herne (Wayne). Also survived by her aunt, Charmaine Boots, her uncle Phillip Boots, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Resting at the residence of Paul Buckshot at 22 Paul Taxi Road, Cornwall Island, from 7 p.m Saturday. Funeral Monday, October 16, 2006 in St. Regis Church at 2 p.m. followed by cremation.
