Richard HINDLE

HINDLE, Richard (Red). 1915-2004. Beloved husband, companion and friend for sixty-four years to Thelma. Devoted father of Richard (Beverley Simpkin) and Irene (Tom Scully). Cherished grandfather of Kimberley (Eric Lussier), Scott (Debbie Kane), Lindsey and Dean. Very special great-grandfather of Ethan James. Dad was a member of The First Special Service Force, serving overseas during WWII. He returned to Canada and began a long career with Canada Customs. He was president and member of the Royal Canadian Legion for many years. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews and families. Visitation will take place at Collins Clarke Funeral Home, 307 Riverside Rd., St. Lambert, Qc., on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment at the Last Post Cemetery (Field of Honor).
