WASS, Frances Roberta (nee Vaughan) - In loving memory of Frances Roberta Wass (nee Vaughan) 64 years who passed away Sunday morning, October 1st 2006 at SRH-St. Joseph's Health Centre. Beloved wife Lyall Wass predeceased 1985. Loving mother of Laura McGrath of Sudbury and Michael Wass (wife Jenny) of Hamilton. Cherished grandmother of Courtney Cassandra, Ricky and Stephanie. Dear daughter of Frederick and Kathleen (Andersen) Vaughan predeceased. Loving sister of Shirley Blais of Sudbury, Bill Vaughan predeceased 2003 (wife Joyce of Bruce Mines), Margaret Cote predeceased 2005, Carole Soden predeceased 2005 and Robert Vaughan (wife Darlene) of Sudbury. Loving sister in law of Betty Beausoleil. (husband Nelson), Ken Wass (wife Ruth) and Doug Wass (wife Monique). Dear aunt of several nieces and nephews. A life resident of Sudbury Frances worked at the Taxation Center retiring in 1987 with 15 years service. Always quick to help others she was active in many worthy causes including Celiac Association and the Cancer Society. She was the manager of the Sudbury Rienguette Travelling Team for many years. She enjoyed knitting and spending time with family and friends. She had a wonderful sense of humour which she generously shared with others. She will be remembered as a loving & devoted mother, and grandmother. The family expresses their appreciation to Dr. Sauve and the staff at St. Joseph's Health Centre ICU 2nd Floor and the staff at Pioneer Manor for their excellent care and support. Memorial Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St. Sudbury, Tuesday, October 3rd, 2006 at 7:30 pm. Cremation with interment at the Valley East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
