Doris DARLINGTON

Darlington, Doris Passed away on Monday, October 23rd, 2006 in her 96th year with her son Barry at her side. Doris was born in Little Hulton, Lancashire, England, where she was an entrepreneur and ran a number of businesses. After emigrating to Canada in 1957, she owned and operated a motel in Niagara Falls, then went on to work with a Brokerage office in Toronto. Doris was predeceased by her husband Herbert. Loving mother of Betty (nee Whittingham) Lancashire, England, and Barry. Survived by her daughter-in-law Kathleen, her grandchildren Ian, Geoffrey, Steven, Jason, and ten great-grandchildren. She loved to travel and vacationed in Sarasota, Florida in the winter months for 17 years. She also enjoyed summers at her cottage in Bancroft, Ontario. Doris provided great support to her family and will be truly missed. Funeral Service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 27, 2006.
