WADE, Nola (nee Richards) Died April 4, 2004 at home in Ottawa in the arms of her beloved husband, Ed, after a long illness. Incredible mother to Elaine and Barbara and mother-in-law to Jonathan. Song-singing grandmother and reader of many stories to Jessica and Hannah. Born January 12, 1930 in Edmonton, Alberta to Margery and Ross Richards. Graduate in home economics at the University of British Columbia where she met her husband over half a century ago. Association executive, consultant, army wife, early feminist, watercolourist, patriot, sharp wit, waltz-lover, wonderful companion.
