GRANDBOIS, Edward Gilbert Passed away on November 1, 2006 in Ottawa. In loving memory of a father whose quiet wisdom taught us more than he realized. This gregarious, charming, opinionated man spent his younger days travelling the world with the RCAF and Dept. of Transport. Later in life he could be found wearing his tilley hat on his sailboat or tending the plants in his garden. He will be missed and forever cherished by his good friend Monique, his children, John, Todd (Kim), Gail Cooke, Guy (Myrna) and the mother of his children, Geraldine. He was loved for his humour and storytelling by his 7 grandchildren (Chris, Karen, Darcy, Trevor, Ethan, Alyssa & Paige) and will also be remembered by 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Doris Gregson and Linda Grandbois. A Private family funeral has taken place and his cremated remains will be buried in B.C. at a later date. If desired donations can be made to The Ottawa Heart InstituTe. Published in the Ottawa Citizen on 11/11/2006
