FRANCIS, Ruth Ellen (nee: Lavigne) Peacefully at Wellington House Nursing Home on Friday, November 10, 2006 in her 94th year. Ruth Francis, wife of the late Harold Francis of Prescott, Florida and Ottawa. Sister of Evelyn Perry of Prescott. Predeceased by sisters Rita Alberry, Mona Lavigne, Nan Perkins and brothers George, William, and Wilfred Lavigne. Survived by niece Catherine Perkins and by nephew Jim Perkins and several nieces and nephews in St. John, N.B., Smiths Falls, Kingston, Brockville, Brier Hill, N.Y. and Orlando, Florida. Friends may call at the Chris Slater Funeral Home, 416 Dibble Street West, Prescott, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2006 with Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Prescott on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery, Smiths Falls.
