Norman Arthur ROBITAILLE

ROBITAILLE, Norman Surrounded by his family on November 18, 2006 Norman Arthur Robitaille age 84 at the Ottawa General Hospital. Predeceased by his loving wife Alexina Robitaille (nee Jodoin) who has been patiently waiting for him. He leaves behind five children Denise (Mike Cobb), Lynda (Mike Tomsons), Noreen (Ron Linton), Norma (Jim Di Giglio) and Danny (Liz Gallagher). Better known as Papa to his twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; he will be dearly missed. His early years on the family farm in Sutton, Quebec engrained a strong work ethic. Supporting his family working two jobs this proud Canadian Pacific railroad man stayed busy even after retirement. A happy and faith filled man whose good sense of humor brought pleasure and laughter wherever he went. Life will never be the same without him. He will forever live on in the hearts of all who loved him. A special thanks to Alta Vista Manor's caring staff and his new friends who brightened his last months. Friends may pay respects at Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St-Joseph Blvd., Orleans on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 and Wednesday, November 22, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Thursday to Annunciation of Our Lord Church, 2414 Ogilvie Rd, Ottawa for Mass of Christian Funeral at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
