Annie Fletcher MCDOUGALL

FLETCHER WHYTE, Annie (Nan). 1916 - 2006. Annie Fletcher Whyte, nee McDougall, better known as Nan, passed away suddenly in Delta, B.C. on November 15, 2006 at age ninety. She lived a long and joyful life, always able to make people laugh and feel better by her presence. She will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Ian Whyte of Calgary, Alberta, Linda Steinbach of Delta, BC, Alan Whyte of St. Bruno, Quebec, daughters-in-law Helen and Debbie, son-in-law Jim, grandchildren Peter, Shaun, Meg, Tim and Hilary, great-grandson Ethan, nephew Ian McDougall and wife Linda of Glasgow, Scotland, and many friends, old and young. Nan was predeceased by her husband Harry Whyte in 1985. A celebration of Nan's life was held at Augustine House, Delta, B.C. on November 21, 2006. A placement of her ashes will take place in the spring of 2007, in her beloved home of St. Bruno, Quebec. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 11/25/2006
