SOWERBY (PARSONS), J. Gail. Peacefully in Montreal on November 23, 2006, at the age of fifty-five, within the loving comfort of her children and mother. Beloved daughter of Janet M. Friis (Ireland) (the late Neil A.) and the late J. Ralph Sowerby, sister of the late W. Lee (Frank Wright). Cherished wife and life partner of Brian L. Parsons, adored and adoring mother to Caitlin, Brendan, and Ashlinn. Dear daughter-in-law to Irene Parsons (King) and the late W.G. (Bubs) Parsons, sister-in-law and special friend to Jim, Brenda, Lynda, and Laura (Drew Hardy), aunty to Douglas and Debra Wright, Jamie Parsons, and Bailey and Erica Hardy. Gail will also be sorely missed by her many close and exceptional friends, and a wealth of valued individuals with whom she crossed paths in her ten years as an intensive-care nurse in British Columbia and her twenty-five years as an English teacher at Champlain College, St. Lambert.
