D'EALL - Hazel Eva (nee Sadler) 1924-2006 Hazel D'Eall passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on November 23, 2006 following a stroke and fall. Hazel was born in Almonte, and after living in Carleton Place moved to Ottawa as a little girl. She worked at the Met Life Insurance company and during the war years she met her husband George. They were married in 1949 and enjoyed 55 years together, raising four children: Brian (Toronto), Keith (Calgary), Grant (Oshawa), and Brenda Thomson (Ottawa), who will all miss her dearly. She will also be lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren. Hazel is survived by three siblings in Ottawa: her sister Muriel Dagg (Charlie), Bob Sadler (Elizabeth) and Doug Sadler (Marlene). She is predeceased by Winnie, Don and Harry and her parents Jack and Jean Sadler of Westboro. After caring for George until his death in February 2004, Hazel moved to Calgary to live near her son's family. A service of remembrance was held in Calgary at Varsity Bible Church, where she attended and where her son, Keith, is a pastor. Her funeral service will be held in Ottawa at the church where she and George worshipped and served, the Metropolitan Bible Church, 453 Bank St. Ottawa, Ontario 613-238-8182 at 12:30 pm, Thursday November 30th. Following the service and reception she will be buried beside her husband, George, in the United Cemetery near Carleton Place. Published in the Ottawa Citizen from 11/28/2006 - 11/29/2006
