Augustinus "Gus" Buist December 14, 1936 - November 23, 2006 Peacefully at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital on Thursday, November 23, 2006, after a lengthy struggle, the Lord took unto Himself, Gus Buist in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Gebina "Bini" Buist (nee Buikema) and loved father of Jim and Bernice Buist, Marcia and Rob Jager, Rita and Paul VanAndel and Rick and Sue Buist. Dear Grandpa of seventeen grandchildren. Will also be missed by his brothers and sister, Jan and Corrie Buist of the Netherlands, Agatha and the late Wiebe Buist, Mark Buist, Ina and John Hulleman, Henk and Jane Buist, sister-in-law Ria and her husband Henk VanLuik, mother-in-law Martha Buikema, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ken and Christine Buikema, John and Henrietta Buikema, Gary and Alice Veenman, and Bert and Eve Buikema. Friends may call at the KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill Street North, Waterdown on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Family Graveside Service will take place at Garden Lane Cemetery, Flamborough on Saturday, November 25, 2006 followed by a public Funeral Service at EBENEZER CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 607 Dynes Road, Burlington at 11 a.m. Rev.
