McCALLUM, Gwen In hospital in Arnprior after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, May 31, 2004, Gwynith Mae McCallum in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Leo McCallum. Daughter of the late Stanley and Iola Stewart. Dear mother of Valerie Copeland (Don) of Calgary, and Rick (Sue) of Athens. Survived by sisters Donna Fraser of Renfrew and Myrna Code (Bob) of White Lake, and brother Erwin Stewart (Barb) of Ottawa. Predeceased by brother Delvin. Sadly missed by grandchildren Jason, Garrett, Keeley and step-grandchildren Cal, Chad and Janine. Gwen's genuine caring for people was greatly appreciated by her many friends and family. Her passion for quilting created many beautiful works of art. The family deeply appreciated the loving care provided by Dr. Susanna McCarthy and the nursing staff of the Arnprior Hospital. Resting at the McPhail & Perkins Funeral Home, 85 Munro Avenue at Lorne, Renfrew, on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Thursday to Lochwinnoch Presbyterian Church for service at 2 p.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged.
