Jessie Florence STEACY

DeFALCO, Jessie Florence (nee Steacy) Peacefully, at home, at Granite Ridge, Stittsville, on Sunday, January 7, 2007 at the age of 91 years, with her loved ones by her side. Beloved wife of the late Dominic DeFalco. Much loved mother of Donna Hadwen (and her husband Earl). Proud and loving grandmother of Karyn Hadwen (and her husband Paul Hussar) and the late Craig; great-grandmother of Nadya and Ryan. Predeceased by brother James Steacy and sisters Anna Adelaide (Addie) McCormick, Marguerite (Rete) Davie and Jeane Parson. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a heartfelt and sincere thank you to Jessie's "Granite Ridge Family" for all their kindness and loving care, which made her final journey a peaceful one. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) on Friday from 12 noon until time of service. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Private interment at Pinecrest Cemetery on Saturday.
