McLEOD, William D. (Bill) On Monday, January 8, 2007 in Smith Falls Hospital, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Hilda E. McLeod (nee Lamb), predeceased by his first wife, Ruth McLeod (nee Schlosser). Survived by his sister Jean DeMone (Roy) of Oakville and his children, Lynda White (Montreal), Shelley McLeod (Ottawa), Doug McLeod and daughter-in-law Jobina (Victoria) Valerie McLeod and son-in-law Eddy Polak (Montreal) Sheri McLeod and his grandchildren, Mathew McLeod, Tara, Corinne and Adrian Jones and Philippe and Kristopher Bastien. Veteran of the RAF/CAF and an Amateur Radio Operator (VE3L0Z), Bill's career took him to the U.K., Iceland, Canada's arctic, from Halifax to Vancouver and south to Barbados to work for a small airline. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 150 Clarence Street in Lanark, Ontario on January 13, 2007 at 2 pm.
