John Royal CUMMINGS

CUMMINGS, John Royal Peacefully at his residence Smiths Falls, with his family by his side on Friday, January 12, 2007, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband for 60 years to Myrna Beveridge. Loving father to Wayne Cummings (Klazina), Susan Peters (Calvin), Linda Dekaban (Gregory) and Brent Cummings (Brenda). Cherished grandfather to ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Jack was the leading Aircraftsman in the Royal Canadian Air Force from June, 1943 to October 25, 1945. He was an operator for the Smiths Falls Water Commission for 32 years. In keeping with John's wishes, arrangements will be private. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. We would like to express our most sincere thanks to all those who filled his final days with dignity and kindness. Thanks to Bayshore and Access Centre Nurses and to Dr. Shew who enabled us the privilege to be with our father every step of his way.
