Stella PISKORSKI

COUCH, Stella At the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 in her 90th year. Stella, wife of the late William Couch; mother of William John Couch of Warsaw, Poland and mother-in-law of Jean Couch of Ottawa; Grandmother of William Couch Jr. and his wife Nicole, George, Janina and her husband Paul de Lima, and John all of Ottawa. Stella is predeceased by her parents Konstanty and Zofia Piskorski, and brothers: John, Carl, Michael and Matthew Piskorski all of Kitchener. She is survived by her sister Sophie Poirier of Kitchener and her brother Walter Piskorski and his wife Irma of London. The family wishes to express their thanks to the kind nurses of St. Joseph Lifecare Centre, the sadly missed Willett Hospital, Dr. Hadley, and her loyal neighbours and friends from Brantford and afar who stood by her during her prolonged struggle. The family will receive friends at the "THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL", 96 West Street, Brantford, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. with Rosary at 8:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 235 Brant Avenue, Brantford will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. followed by interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
