James William KARRYS

KARRYS James William. After eighty-five healthy and proud years, James William Karrys died peacefully surrounded by his best friend for thirty-nine years, Marie Reed and his family on Thursday, January 18, 2007 at the Toronto East General Hospital. Father to Jimmy, Billy and Peter. Sadly missed by Kelly, Doug, Bill, Anne and Sandy. Grandfather to Jordan, Jacqueline, Jessica, Jocelyn, Dannica, Tyler, Lachlan, Jamie and Christopher. He will always be remembered for his gentleness, courage, and kindness amongst his family and vast friendships. James was the oldest of four boys and survived his brothers Tass, Steve, and Byron. He was involved in the bowling, wholesale distribution, and restaurant supplies business in which he recently retired. He is resting at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) Oakville, on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Funeral mass will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at St. George's Greek Orthodox Church, 115 Bond Street, Toronto.
