SHINNAN, James Andrew CD2, F/Sgt (Ret.) July 11, 1927 - January 19, 2007 Peacefully at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre in his 80th year. Jim is survived by his dear wife of 55 years, Loretta (nee Nolan), his children Andrew (Linda), Stewart (Arpena), Monica (Philip) and Julie. Cherished Grandpa to Kelly (Danny), Jennifer, Jim, Stephen, Anoosh, Alexandra, Erin, Katie, Becky, Patricia, Kerri and Nathan. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Ave. at Richmond Rd., Monday, 6 - 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, 153 Woodroffe Ave. at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2007. Interment the National Military Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute, the Canadian Cancer Society or the SCOHS Elisabeth Bruyere Pavilion would be appreciated.
