BROWNE, Bertha J. Of R.R.#1 Cobden, passed away in the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Friday, January 19, 2007 in her 78th year. Bertha Alward beloved wife of Russell Browne. Dear mother of Bonita (George Beatty) of Ottawa; Brenda (Harry Kelder) of Richmond, B.C.; Susan (Gary Morgan) of Cobden and Daniel (Cathy) Browne of Luskville, P.Q. Loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also survived by 2 brothers Carl (Shirley) Alward and Arthur (Jessie) Alward and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris & Heubner Funeral Home Cobden Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service in The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Cobden, Monday at 2:00 p.m. Spring interment Cobden Union Cemetery.
