Irene ISKRA

KAZUBINSKI, Irene (nee Iskra) Peacefully on Friday, January 19, 2007 at the Queensway - Carleton Hospital at the age of 81 after a long and brave battle with Alzheimer Disease. Irene will be mourned by her husband of 51 years, Zenon, and her son, Robert (Valerie). Her granddaughters, Natasha and Alexis will deeply miss their "Nanny". Predeceased by her parents, Jan and Josephine Iskra, and by one brother and sister in Poland. She is survived by one sister, Helena Fiok, and other relatives also in Poland. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Avenue (south of Fallowfield) Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayer Service Sunday at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Monday, January 22, 2007 to St. Hyacinth's Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Pinecrest Cemetery. The family would like to thank the caring staff at the Starwood Nursing Home and the Queensay-Carleton Hospital.
