NEWTON, Ralph Allen George. Peacefully on Saturday, January 20, 2007 in his ninety-first year. Beloved husband of Mary Veronica (Vera) Hamilton and the late Irene Hipkiss. Loving father of Ron (Dolly) and dear stepfather to Judy (Ray Whitley) and Cheryl (Fred Steer). Special grandpa to Tina, Bryan, Emma and Brent. He leaves behind his three sisters Ruth (Wakefield), Marjorie (Vanier) and Eunice (Reeb) as well as his nieces and nephews. Ralph was predeceased by his brothers Dan, Chris, Frank, Leonard, Johnny, Eric and Bob and his sister Beryl. His gentle nature touched all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. Visitation at Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd. (corner Isabella St), on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 from noon to 2 p.m. and will be followed by a service in the funeral home's chapel at 2 p.m. Special thanks to the nurses and aids on 15E - MGH for their compassion and great kindness.
