Patrick DIXON

DIXON, Patrick. Pat died unexpectedly at home on January 15, 2007 peacefully in his sleep. Only fifty-four years old, he left us much too early. He grew up in Dorval, joining his parents when they moved to Bridgewater, N.S. and then returning to Montreal to work in the auto parts industry. Gentle Pat easily made friends wherever he went and they will miss his love for a good time and his willingness to lend a hand. Predeceased by his parents Dr. William G. Dixon and Rita (Newman) Dixon, he is survived by brothers Liam (Lina), Beaconsfield, QC, Michael (Ann Marie Brady), Ottawa, Paul (Bonita), Halifax and sister Mary (Edward Howell), Newcombville, N.S. The family will welcome you at the J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 560 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, January 25 at 7 p.m. with service at 8 p.m. Interment of ashes will take place this summer in Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of your choice.
