Anne PERITZ

GOLDWATER, Anne (nee Peritz). Peacefully in Toronto after a brief illness on Tuesday, January 23, 2007. She was just shy of ninety-four years old. Anne was a fine and gentle woman, a true lady, greatly beloved by her sons Sydney (Beverley Conner) and Bram (Susan-Rose Slatkoff), grandson Gerald-Rene, and nieces and nephews. She was cherished, respected and valued by all who knew her. Born Anne Peritz, sister and sister-in-law of Peter and Janie Peritz, Ray and the late Ben Salit and the late Lou Schacter, Helen and Jack Halpern, Bryna and the late Samuel Tyberg, Frances and Lew Endman and the late Harvey Britton, the late Sally and the late Moe Lippman, Irene and the late Simon Peritz, the late Jack Peritz, the late Betty and the late Victor Byers, the late Leila and the late Edgar Bravmann and sister-in-law of the late Rose (Odie) and the late Aaron Newmark and the late Fanny and the late Elliot Goldwater. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald, with whom she shared a devoted and loving marriage for over fifty years. Anne possessed a quiet and unassuming yet potent strength and influence; she will be greatly missed. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Friday, January 26 at 11 a.m. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, Mt.
