Lucie M. CHIASSON

Sr. Lucie M. Chiasson, f.j. Sister Lucie Marie Chiasson, in religion, Sister Marie Placide-du-Sacré-Coeur, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2007 at The Moncton Hospital. She was 81 and in her 60th year of her religious profession. Born in Chéticamp, NS, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Anita (LeBlanc) Chiasson. Besides her religious family, she is survived by her sister, Mathilda Chiasson of Chéticamp, NS; two brothers, James and Pierre-Patrice both of Petit-Étang, NS; many nieces, and nephews. Sister spent the greater part of her life working as a nurse in Notre-Dame-du-Lac, Lewiston, Montana, and Chéticamp. Remains resting at the Vice-Provincial House of the Filles de Jésus, 553, Elmwood Drive, Moncton, from where the funeral mass will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
